Hi! I am really excited to be starting our second 25 book challenge. Here are some suggestions from the books that are in our library and that I have recently read:

Kirby Silent in an Evil Time: The Brave War of Edith Cavell by Jack Batten (Biography of World War I nurse) Son by Lois Lowry Bread and Roses by Katherine Paterson Countdown by Deborah Wiles The Evolution of Calpurnia Tate by Jacqueline Kelly Junonia by Kevin Henkes The Cheshire Cheese Cat: A Dickens of a Tale by Carmen Agra Deedy & Randall Wright The Seventh Level by Jody Feldman The Emerald Atlas Black Duck by Janet Taylor Lisle
Rick Riordan does it again. What fun, but the ending leaves you wanted the next installment which won't be out until the Fall.

This is the prophecy that is the theme behind the series, “The Heroes of the Olympus.” The Son of Neptune is the second in the series.
